Today Lynnea had an EEG to determine if she is having any seizure activity. She's not. But, the EEG also confirmed what the MRI showed: there is not a whole lot of normal brain function going on.
Tomorrow the plan is to attempt to extubate her to see how she does without the support of the ventilator.

Lynnea's Heart
Lynnea's heart was broken,
And it could not be repaired,
Though many tried.
Lynnea's heart sounded different:
Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh,
Instead of thump, thump, thump.
Lynnea's heart had extra holes,
A missing valve, a ventricle too small,
And her aorta was a mess, to say the least.
Lynnea's heart was beautiful:
Full of laughter, full of love,
Full of smiles, full of hope.
Lynnea's heart stopped too soon.
And it could not be repaired,
Though many tried.
