Another Update

Lynnea seems to be doing very well after her surgery. They were able to remove her chest tube earlier today, and not long ago the removed her breathing tube. Both surgeons involved in her procedure said that everything is working the way it is supposed to for now.

A lot of people have asked for a few more details about Lynnea's condition and the procedures that are needed to correct the problems that she has. Hopefully tomorrow sometime I will be able to get some illustrations up here so that I can explain everything (it's really hard to explain without pictures).

God created the heavens and the earth in six days and it was very good and on the seventh day He rested, but He was not done with His creation. He continues the process of recreation of His once very good creation after the fall into sin. When Jesus walked the earth He reveled himself as the Messiah in His ministry through miracles and preaching. During His three years of ministry He healed the sick, miracles gave sight to the blind, healed the lame to walk and made the lepers clean. Through these, He demonstrated His authority over sin, death and the power of the Devil by healing the physical evidence of sin in this world. Christ brought to completion his recreation in His death on the cross and His resurrection on the third day. Therefore, Sunday, the 8th day of the week is the day of completion. A day that ends the old and brings a new beginning. God commanded that the Old Testament Jews, be circumcised to show that they were God’s chosen people. They were to do this on the 8th day of a child’s life to illustrate for them what Christ would do on the 8th day, Easter Morning bringing new life. As New Testament Christians we are no longer bound by the law of circumcision, but become His children through baptism when we are marked as His adopted children and receive full benefits of His recreation conquering sin. Lynnea was born on Oct 31. On her 8th day of life God started her recreation in her Baptism. That day He gave her new life as His child and started the process of healing her physical imperfections. Just as Christ revealed Himself as the Messiah through his miracles during His ministry here on earth, He started His healing process for Lynnea and is once again demonstrating, and reminding us of His power over both the spiritual and physical effects sin.
